Christie was just 17 when he passed out of Para depot and deployed weeks after joining 3 Para, to recapture the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic, following the Argentine invasion in 1982. After leaving the British Army, Christie became one of the UK's chosen few Level 1 undercover Police operatives, regularly deploying into some of the most dangerous criminal environments in Britain, fighting serious and violent crime, playing the role of drug dealer, gangster and gun man, contract killer, thief, robber and handler of stolen goods.
