Hakhel | Episode 7: The Rebbe's Chiddush

This eight-part, in-depth series will explore the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s novel approach to the definition of the mitzvah of Hakhel as it applies to children. The series will also cover several fundamental elements related to the mitzvah of Hakhel, such as the time of Hakhel; the definition of the mitzvah; the role of the King; the need for a bima and more. In this episode we will analyze the Rebbe's chiddush on the definition of the mitzvah of Hakhel as it applies to children. We will further explore several questions of the Acharonim in the sugya of Hakhel that can possibly be resolve based on the Rebbe's novel perspective.
