Hall of Fame

“Hall of Fame” by Steve Adams We have a large adopted family and my goal was always to inspire the kids to become amazing people.   I remember hearing a song way back titled, “Hall of Fame”.  In the lyrics, listeners are encouraged to be students,  teachers, leaders, astronauts, champions and truth seekers with the promise that “the world's gonna know your name And you'll be on the walls of the Hall of Fame” I told the kids that becoming famous was not the point, but that doing your best would earn respect and success and that those would be the “Hall of Fame” they should strive for. Today, they are doctors, engineers, pilots, actors, teachers and entrepreneurs and it occurred to me last evening that they all did exactly what that song was about.  Their names are not flashed across a TV screen, but in their own special ways, they have made and are making lives better. So many things in society are designed to tear us down or weaken our Spirit, but providing hope and vision to a child pays dividends Sponsored by the Caylor Group Wealth Management in Lynchburg VA.
