Happy March!

from Art Creativity & Wellbeing · host Kay Lock Kolp

Hello friends! I hope March is starting off very well for you! What are you up to creatively?I see that I have been feeling better by creating.Late last year I decided to spend at least one hour per day in what I think of as "creative enjoyment." This is everything from taking a walk or hike – or over the last week or so, getting out to go skiing where I'm staying with my parents in the Colorado Rockies – to creating art, writing, making fun stuff! The rule has been that it's not about consuming somebody else's creations. It's about doing something creative from a place of enjoyment. Here's what I have been working on!This newsletter, Art Creativity & WellbeingA newsletter published in LinkedIn for leaders, The Heart of Leadership A new podcast! It's called The Waking Up Podcast and you can find it presently either in Spotify, or right into your inboxA group for those who would enjoy some company on the adventure of lifeSome really fun chats with my friend and colleague Coach Andrew Moss about the tools that we created together as I was training to do my hike across England(You can be with us live during the recordings, which take place the second Thursday of every month. The next one will be Thursday, 13 March. They are generously hosted by Pathfinders.social in LinkedIn! Click here for the Pathfinders page so you can join our upcoming conversation!)Then finally, coming up on 19 April a live pop up coffeehouse at which I'll be the featured guest! What about you - what’re you up to?In a time when there has been a lot of opportunity to get pulled off my place of center, these creative enjoyments have really kept me feeling positive and open about the future.Which makes me super curious! What have you been creating lately? Please share, either here in the comments or just hit reply and share from your inbox to mine.I am wishing you well! See you next week for another newsletter edition and in early April with another video like today's.Cheers –Kay This is a public episode.
