Hardships Often Prepare Ordinary People for an Extraordinary Destiny.

from Your Daily Devotional: GoOD Mornings with CurlyNikki

A quick review of different 'doors' or practices to keep you in Love this week, to get you through and beyond your hardships to the Go(o)d that awaits. The Go(o)d you deserve. The Go(o)d you ARE. The Go(o)d that IS.  The only one I forgot to mention (that helped me TREMENDOUSLY) was: 1. Notice when you're worrying about something 2. Remember that you don't feel bad because what you're worrying about is true (or will come true), you feel bad because it's NOT TRUE. It's false. And that's the only reason you feel 'off'... because God doesn't agree with you on that subject.  When you and God differ on a topic, you get a sign. And that sign is 'worry', or 'fear'.  3. Feel the relief in that remembrance and feel Go(o)d again.  Now you and God agree! 4. And watch what happens :) Finally, a seed to be planted- “Your own concepts have created "walls" and so you need a "door." But when there are no concepts, there are no walls.” -Ravi Shankar I Love you, Nik [email protected] Bonus episodes every week: ▶▶https://www.patreon.com/goodmornings Go(o)d Mornings merch: ▶▶https://www.patreon.com/goodmornings _______________________ Today's Quotes: *inspired by Abraham Hicks  "Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny." -C S Lewis  "Don't run away, run inward." -Rumi "People come to me and ask why God created this suffering world. "Why is there so much suffering if God is compassion?" Yes, God is compassion. Therefore, there is so much suffering. Unless you pass through suffering, you will not reach the ultimate ecstasy. It is a basic training. Unhappiness is a basic training for the ultimate flowering of happiness. Every suffering is a Buddha seed. How can you reach ecstasy if you have not known agony? If you reach the world of ecstasy without knowing what agony is, you will not be able to recognize it. The recognition is impossible. Only through darkness can light be recognized. You may be living in light, but if you don't know darkness, you cannot know that you are living in light. A fish in the sea cannot know that the sea exists. Only if the fish is thrown out of the sea, does it come to recognize the sea. If it is thrown back into the sea again, the fish will be totally different and the sea will be totally different to the fish. Now the fish will be able to recognize it. The world is just a training ground. You must be thrown deeply into matter." -Osho  "The God to whom we pray remains with us all the time, disguised, hidden behind every person and object we encounter, but it takes an enormous amount of full attention to open our eyes and hearts to the simple truth that the Divine and Love are in absolutely everything, everywhere." -Amma  Support the show Beginning Aug 7, 2023 - 'GoOD Mornings with CurlyNikki' will host pre and post roll ads within the back catalogue.
