HAROLD B. LEE BLESSED BY AN ANGEL: "Stand Ye in Holy Places:, Apr. 1973

In General Conference 1973, President Harold B. Lee gave a talk titled, "Stand Ye in Holy Places". He  begins by teaching the importance of service in the Lord's Kingdom. The commands to comfort those that stand in need of comfort, to bear one another's burdens, and come into the fold of God. He encourages, "The great call has come now in the sermons of the brethren to aid those who are in need of aid, not just temporal aid, but spiritual aid...Who of us, in whatever station we may have been in, have not needed strengthening?" President Lee then relates a singular transcendent experience that happened when he was serving the Lord and needed help, that he did not even know he needed. An angel from the other side of the veil came to his rescue, allowing President Lee to continue on in the Lord's work.
