In the summer of this year (2011) Ian Sainsbury went along to the Hexagon centre in Chandlers Ford to find out more about a Disability Awareness Day. The event was being run by Hampshire Constabulary with support from local partners like the council and local housing associations. The main aim for the police officers and staff running the event was to make it a fun day for those with disabilities who came along and to make sure they realise, what they can do and the help they can get, if the suffer from hate crime or any other sort of crime. It was a popular event and Ian went on a mission to find out more....
