In this second episode Ian Sainsbury visited the Hexagon Centre in Chandlers Ford where local officers and staff held a disability awareness day. He went on a mission to find out more about it.In the first episode Ian goes to the police led multi-agency SKAA event in Southampton. The Southampton Kids Alcohol Awareness event is aimed at educating in a fun way youngsters aged 11-16 about the dangers and problems associated with excessive drinking.

Hate Crime Stamp it Out - Disability Awareness Event
In the summer of this year (2011) Ian Sainsbury went along to the Hexagon centre in Chandlers Ford to find out more about a Disability Awareness Day. The event was being run by Hampshire Constabulary with support from local partners like the council and local housing associations. The main aim for the police officers and staff running the event was to make it a fun day for those with disabilities who came along and to make sure they realise, what they can do and the help they can get, if the suffer from hate crime or any other sort of crime. It was a popular event and Ian went on a mission to find out more....

The SKAA - Southampton Kids Alcohol Awareness event
Ian Sainsbury goes along to the first SKAA - Southampton Kids Alcohol Awareness event in Southampton. The police led multi-agency project aims to educate youngsters aged 11-16 in a fun and informative way about the dangers and problems with excessive drinking. Ian went along to find out more and did his best to try and look cool at the evening neon music party event! He succeeded in making this plodcast but failed miserably at the being cool bit!
