Hayom Yom 1 Menachem Av - The quality of Mashiach will be his humility

מַעֲלַת הַמָּשִׁיחַ שֶׁיִּהְיֶה עָנָיוThe distinctive quality of Mashiach will be his humility. דַּהֲגַם שֶׁיִּהְיֶה בְּתַכְלִית הַגַּדְלוּתThough he will be on the highest level, וְיִלְמוֹד תּוֹרָה עִם הָאָבוֹת וּמֹשֶׁה רַבֵּנוּ עָלָיו הַשָּׁלוֹםand will teach Torah to the Patriarchs and Moshe Rabbeinu, בְּכָל זֶה יִהְיֶה בְּתַכְלִית הָעֲנָוָה וְהַבִּטּוּלhe will nevertheless possess ultimate humility and self-effacement, לִלְמוֹד גַּם עִם אֲנָשִׁים פְּשׁוּטִיםand will teach even simple folk.Text and Translation courtesy of Sichos in EnglishFor questions and follow-up: [email protected]
