עֶס זַיינֶען דָא צוֵוייעֶרלֵיי חוּקִּיםThere are two kinds of laws:א) אַ גֶעזֶעץ וֶועלכֶער שׁאַפט לעֶבעֶן(a) laws that generate life andב) אַ געֶזעֶץ וועֶלכעֶר וועֶרט באַשׁאַפעֶן פוּן לעֶבעֶן(b) laws that result from life.מעֶנשלִיכֶע געֶזעֶצעֶן זַיינעֶן געֶשׁאַפעֶן פוּן לעֶבעֶןMan-made laws result from life.דעֶרפאַר זַיינעֶן זֵיי אִין יעֶדעֶר לאַנד פאַרשִׁידעֶן, לוֹיט דִי תְּנָאִים פוּן לאַנדThat is why they differ in every country, each according to its local circumstances. תּוֹרַת ה', אִיז דעֶר גֶ-טלִיכעֶר געֶזעֶץ וועֶלכעֶר שׁאַפט אַ לעֶבעֶןG‑d’s Torah is the Divine law that generates life.תּוֹרַת ה' אִיז תּוֹרַת אֱמֶתIt is “the Torah of truth” —דִי תּוֹרָה אִיז אִין אַלעֶ עֶרטעֶר אוּן אִין אַלעֶ צַייטעֶן גלַייךthe same in all places and at all times.תּוֹרָה אִיז נִצְחִיתThe Torah is eternal.Text and Translation courtesy of Sichos in English
