הד קובץ נולד בקיבוץ בעוטף עזה, ועבר עם הוריו, מהנדס ברפאל ואמנית, למשגב שבגליל העליון. כבר בנעוריו הוא צייר ואפילו מכר חלק מהעבודות שלו ולאורך השנים הוא היה בטוח שאחרי השחרור הוא ילך לבצלאל ויפצח בקריירה באמנות פלסטית. אלא שלחיים היו תוכניות אחרות עבור הבחור עם השם הלא שגרתי. הוא גוייס ל-8200 ולמרות שהעבודה הראשונה שלו אחרי השחרור הייתה בכלל בבר ברחוב אבן גבירול, הוא הצטרף לחברת הסייבר ורינט ואחרי שנתיים החליט שהוא רוצה להיות יזם. סילברפורט הוקמה ב-2016 ובחודשים הראשונים אף קרן לא רצתה להשקיע בשלושת היזמים שבחרו תחום שבתקופה ההיא היה פחות חם - הגנה על זהויות. שמונה שנים אחרי, סילברפורט כבר גייסה כ-220 מיליון דולר, 116 מיליון מתוכם גויסו תוך כדי מלחמת חרבות ברזל. עם הכנסות של עשרות מיליוני דולרים, הם כבר לא במשחק של למכר את החברה בכמה מאות מיליונים אלא מכוונים גבוה יותר, לחברה שמצריכה רמת מחויבות גבוהה, כזו שלא מאפשרת להד לסיים ציור שמן על בד, שהוא ניסה להתחיל אי שם בתחילת ימי הסטרטאפ.
