from The Moving On Method® Podcast · host Michelle Dempsey-Multack
When it comes to healing after divorce, some might think that blocking out the negative feelings; the anger, the pain, the grief, the sorrow - will make the process less arduous. This couldn't be further from the truth, our podcast guest Dr. Jen Wolkin shares. The feelings you push to the surface don't just magically disappear, which is why Dr. Jen Wolkin is giving us permission to feel all of the feels so that you can heal from divorce - in a really healthy way. Jennifer Wolkin, PhD is a New York City based licensed clinical neuropsychologist, writer, speaker, and mental health advocate. Dr. Jen runs a private practice with an appreciation that our mind, body, brain, and spirit are intimately intertwined and impacted upon by one another. She draws from such tools as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, the creative arts (including music), and biofeedback training. She is currently pursuing her master’s in creative writing with a poetry focus.
