In today’s episode, I dive deeper into the OCD distortion of intolerance of uncertainty and anxiety in our lives. This is huge among OCD sufferers, causing us to feel isolated and alone. I want to walk you through some common examples and pitfalls you may fall into in your OCD battle, as well as give you tools to overcome them. When we learn to tolerate the physical sensations of anxiety or stress, as well as letting go of needing a distorted level of certainty on important things in our lives, we can find freedom from OCD. It starts with you making the decision to go ALL IN at eliminating compulsive behavior out of your life with the Grace and Gentleness of God. There is freedom when we give all of our anxiety’s and uncertainties to the Lord and let Him heal our hearts from OCD. We can only do this through His power and strength and knowing that we are unconditionally loved, accepted, and validated in our battle.
