Health Report Breastfeeding Workshop

Breastfeeding education and support took centre stage at the Vieux Fort Wellness Centre as mothers and expectant mothers from the community and surrounding areas gathered for a special workshop aimed at strengthening knowledge, building confidence, and promoting informed decisions on infant and young child feeding. The initiative, held as part of activities to observe Breastfeeding Awareness Month under the theme, “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works,” forms part of ongoing efforts to promote, protect and support breastfeeding within local communities.
