Healthy Sexuality Part 2 – 1 Corinthians 6-7

As we continue in the teachings of the Apostle Paul on healthy sexuality, we learn from God’s viewpoint what a gift we have been given to endeavor to live pure in His sight.In Paul’s day, sexual liberty was the moral code. The culture was ignorant of what is considered sexually immoral. Visiting Temple prostitutes was a commonly accepted thing. Christian freedom was accepted as everything is permitted. The new idea was that the body was now the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Believers now had to learn that sexual immorality defiled the body of the believer and also the church as the Body of Christ.Marriage advice is given in Chapter 7 to help couples, and advice is also given to singles to overcome temptation.
