Sue Buddenbaum Bio As the Founder of BigHearted Blooms, Sue Buddenbaum uses recycled flowers to bring joy and an emotional boost to thousands of individuals battling many different life challenges. Responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization, Sue drives the mission, fundraising, operations, and community engagement of this five-year-old, fast growing non-profit. She believes deeply in the power of small acts of kindness and, through this passion, has engaged hundreds of people in spreading kindness throughout the greater Cleveland area. Guiding BigHearted Blooms is Sue’s fourth career, having worked more than 30 years in information technology, management consulting and marketing leadership roles. In addition to her work at BigHearted Blooms, she continues her role as a Founding Partner of Alterra Group, a marketing and communications consultancy. Sue holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a BS in Business from Indiana University. She enjoys gardening, crafting and pickleball, and especially the time she and her husband get to spend with their children and grandchild.
