Heart Of A Tiger documentary and Dyan Tai interview. In 1995, 3CR's Peter Davis from the People Living With AIDS Radio Working Group produced and broadcast Heart Of A Tiger, featuring Beng Lim, a gay Asian man living with HIV/AIDS. The documentary explores the cross-cultural, health, family and spiritual issues that Beng experienced before he passed away in 1995. We are honoured to re-broadcast this historic documentary during AIDS Awareness Week to celebrate Beng's life and to commemorate World AIDS Day on December 1st. Thank you to Peter Davis for unearthing his wonderful documentary for us to play and to Florenz Ronn for converting it from tape to digital. Dyan Tai is a queer performer, songwriter, musician and DJ. Dyan chats with James about their music, performances and productions and we feature their new single Freedom.
