Heart of the Problem I

In this episode I discuss a couple of examples of how we’re trying to solve an issue by treating the symptom instead of the root cause.  This new segment is what I’m calling “Are We Solving the Right Problem?”.  In it, I focus specifically on how my mind was changed on switching exclusively to renewable energy to limit the impacts of climate change.  To help make my point, I  use a couple of analogies from my engineering background.  The TED talk called “Why renewables can’t save the  planet” by Michael Shellenberger was used as the inspiration  for this episode.  If you have feedback or ideas for future episodes, shoot a note to [email protected] or on Twitter @ThatsSoJENK.
