There have been moments of joy, moments of challenge and perhaps moments that still leave unanswered questions. As the evening becomes quieter, our hearts are invited to become still. Before sleep comes, let’s place our attention where lasting peace is always found—not on today’s successes or disappointments, but on Jesus Christ. He has walked with us from the first light of this morning until this quiet evening hour, and His faithfulness has not changed. Tonight, we simply lift our eyes to Him. Scripture (NIV) “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” — Hebrews 12:2 Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your Son, Jesus Christ, who remains faithful yesterday, today and forever. As we prepare to rest tonight, help us to lay aside every burden that does not belong to us and fix our hearts upon Him. When our minds begin to wander towards tomorrow, gently draw us back to the certainty of Christ’s love, His finished work and His unfailing promises. Renew our faith, quiet our thoughts and fill us with the deep assurance that Jesus continues to lead us by His grace. May the Holy Spirit keep our eyes fixed upon Christ so that we rest tonight with peaceful hearts, confident that the One who has carried us today will faithfully carry us into tomorrow. Fear will not win, because our eyes are fixed on Jesus, whose faithfulness never fails. May the Lord Jesus fill your heart with His perfect peace tonight, strengthen your faith as you rest and awaken you tomorrow with fresh hope, renewed joy and quiet confidence in His unfailing love.
