Hebrews 4:15 Tells us Jesus was Tempted in All Things as We Are. Does that Mean "Every" Temptation Common to Man?
from Same-Sex Attracted and a Christian. Now What? · host Dennis Belkofer
For decades, I thought that, yes, Jesus was tempted by every temptation that is common to man (1 Corinthians 10:13). I now realize that would have meant just that: every temptation, such as Jesus being sexually attracted to a man, wanting to commit murder, rape, and abusing a child - and on and on and on. That is not what the author of Hebrews 4:15 had in mind. I take you on a journey through Scripture to prove it. When I finished recording this episode, I realized it may be the most important one I will record. Understanding Hebrews 4:15 is necessary for spiritual maturity and for living a life of holiness, which God expects and demands of a born-again believer in Jesus.
