Hebrews 4:15 Tells us Jesus was Tempted in All Things as We Are. Does that Mean "Every" Temptation Common to Man?
For decades, I thought that, yes, Jesus was tempted by every temptation that is common to man (1 Corinthians 10:13). I now realize that would have meant just that: every temptation, such as Jesus being sexually attracted to a man, wanting to commit murder, rape, and abusing a child - and on and on and on. That is not what the author of Hebrews 4:15 had in mind. I take you on a journey through Scripture to prove it. When I finished recording this episode, I realized it may be the most important one I will record. Understanding Hebrews 4:15 is necessary for spiritual maturity and for living a life of holiness, which God expects and demands of a born-again believer in Jesus. Check out the episodes that align with His demand: "Fighting Temptations by Putting on the Armor of God Means More than Quoting Verses in Ephesians 6:11-17" and "What God Demands of all Christians - and it is Serious: 1 Thessalonians 4:2-8." I Repent and Apologize for Omitting Strategic Verses in the Episode: Have You Heard that Jesus Said Nothing (Condemning) About Homosexuality? Is that Blaspheming His Divinity?
In this episode, I provide the verses that I omitted. They speak for themselves: Jesus didn't say anything directly about homosexuality. He provided the truth that condemns it. But it doesn't mean that He did not die for the sin of homosexuality and all that it involves - for those who turn to him in repentance and saving faith. I am living proof. Check out the episodes: "From Sexual Abuse to Sexual Addiction to Jesus," and "Born Again: Often Misunderstood and Maligned." And I emphasize that being born again does not eradicate all of the damage before we are born again that afterward festers in our flesh. Biblically dealing with that "leftover festering " is the heart and soul of my podcast. Email: [email protected]

Compassion that Coddles, Deceives, and Imprisons...Compassion that Convicts, is Grounded in Truth, and Transforms...Do You Know the Differnce?
This episode has the potential to open the door of a prison that masquerades as grace and is a lie. You may be in that prison, unaware of it. And I ask: Of the two kinds of compassion, which one describes your church and you? This episode may answer that question - and free you to experience transformation. This is the link to Becket Cook's "The Becket Cook Show" that I mention in this episode, in which he interviews Elizabeth Woning, a former feminist lesbian who is now born-again and has been married to her husband for more than twenty years. https://youtu.be/NQnyn7AijeM?si=dcRqEZ3i0n11SD1wEmail: [email protected]

A Feminist Lesbian, now a Born-Again Believer in Christ, Helped Me to Understand Gay Affirming Churches and Seminaries
Today is Friday, June 19, 2026, a beautiful morning here in Chicago, making the Windy City even more stunning. What I share in this episode is also stunning and unto the glory of Christ! Yesterday, I tuned into YouTube. Among the videos was "The Lord Removed All Doubt: A Gay-Affirming Lesbian Comes to Christ," from Becket Cook's podcast, The Becket Cook Show. The woman: Elizabeth Woning, who lived as a gay-affirming woman, is now married for 21 years and is the co-founder of Changed, a ministry committed to bringing "the true gospel" to the LGBTQ+ community. Elizabeth helped me understand the motivations behind gay-affirming churches and seminaries more deeply. Please check out my episodes on gay affirming churches, pastors who identify as gay, and evangelical pastors who identify a parishioner attracted to the same sex as a gay Christian. What Elizabeth shared was the "icing on the cake" to those episodes. I've provided the link to access Becket Cook's video. Or enter: the Lord removed all doubt: a gay affirming lesbian comes to Christ. I believe you will find it riveting, as I did. https://youtu.be/NQnyn7AijeM?si=dcRqEZ3i0n11SD1wEmail: [email protected]

A Call to Prodigals to Come Home: "You are Mine" (Isaiah 43:1); "I Will Not Forget You...I Have Inscribed You on the Palms of My Hands" (Isaiah 49:15-16)
I have lived the title of this episode. And I am calling prodigals living in their "pigpens" (Luke 15:11-24) to come back home as I did 45 years ago. Your Father has been waiting for you, like the father in Luke 15, who saw his prodigal son still a long way off: he had been on "the lookout" for him. And if you are a prodigal, your heavenly Father has been on the lookout for you. This episode may be the most heartfelt that I record. I know what it is like to be in "the pigpen." Please check out "My Journey to Becoming a Prodigal," and "A Prodigal Son Comes Home" (A and B).Email: [email protected]

Have You Heard that Jesus Said Nothing (Condemning) About Homosexuality in the Gospels? Is that Blaspheming His Divinity?
I usually provide a text that introduces the episode. I've decided to let the title speak for itself. Up front: This episode falls short of what has become the 11th Commandment: "Thou Shalt Nice." But "nice" can also be a door-opener to hell. This is not an easy-listening episode. Be prepared. Email: [email protected]

If Your Relationship with Your Parents Needs Healing, How God Healed My Relationship with My Father May Encourage You
In past episodes, I've shared how God healed my relationship with my father - even like Jonah, "kicking and screaming." And I am aware that many, even most, of the men and women who tune into my podcast and are same-sex attracted have painful relationships with their parents that need healing. It is why I've recorded this episode, which focuses on my father and me and our mutual healing. I pray that it will encourage you. Email: [email protected]

Are You Jealous About Spending Time Alone with God? Or is it Just a Checklist on Your Daily to-do List, Sometimes an Inconvenience?
I am going to let the title of this episode speak for itself as you listen. Is it the road Jesus said few find, meaning Christians and not only non-Christians? And I ask, please go to YouTube and select "The Secret Walk with God that Few will ever Take," by Leonard Ravenhill. It is the title of this episode in a nutshell. Email: [email protected]

As David Confessed His Sins of Adultery and Murder, He Said, "Wipe Out My Guilty Deeds?" (Psalm 51:9) Why Not "Just My Sins"?
This episode is a continuation and a deeper dive into the episode "What does Isaiah 53:10, Jesus Rendering Himself as a Guilt Offering Mean for You if You are Born Again"? (In that episode, I mistakenly l quoted Isaiah 53:7; it should have been Isaiah 53:10. I've corrected it. Also, in this episode, I may have made the same mistake in the audio. I apologize.) I take you in this episode to Psalm 51, where David confesses his sin of committing adultery with Bathsheba and arranging the murder of her husband, Uriah, to cover it up. Why did David refer to those sins as guilty deeds? And I ask before you listen to this episode: Has confessing our guilt been missing from our confessions of sin? And what does Psalm 34:21-22 say about it in the New American Standard Bible (NASB), the 2020 edition? Have we short-sighted ourselves? Although I quote the NASB's 2020 and 1995 versions of Psalm 34 in this episode, if you don't have those editions, try googling Psalm 34 in the 2020 and 1995 editions. I find the 2020 edition more encouraging. And where does The Law fit into it? And has the evangelical church lost sight of The Law as a manifestation of God's character? I address these questions in this episode. Please continue. Email: [email protected]
