As we reach the middle of this day, there may be moments when we feel stretched, discouraged or unsure of what comes next. We can easily believe that we must carry every burden by ourselves or wait until we are stronger before coming to God. Yet the Lord never asks us to earn His welcome. He lovingly invites us to come just as we are, bringing every concern into His presence, where mercy is freely given and grace is always enough. Hebrews 4:16 (NIV) “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Heavenly Father, thank You that Your throne is a throne of grace and not of rejection. Thank You that Your mercy is new for us today and that Your love remains constant through every circumstance. Lord Jesus, because of Your finished work on the cross, we can come confidently into the Father’s presence. Strengthen our hearts, lift every heavy burden and remind us that we never walk alone. Holy Spirit, fill us afresh with peace, courage and unwavering faith, helping us to trust that Your grace will always meet us at our point of need. Today we declare that fear will not win, because we belong to a faithful God who welcomes us with open arms. Help us to leave every anxiety at Your feet and continue through this day with renewed hope, knowing that Your grace is greater than every challenge we face. We pray for every listener joining us from the United States, Brazil, Nigeria, the Philippines, Japan, the United Kingdom and across the nations. Pour out Your mercy upon every home, strengthen every weary heart and let the hope of Jesus Christ shine brightly wherever Your people are today.
