Helicopter Footage Reveals Massive Orés Wildfire Burning Across Spain

Zaragoza, Spain – Multiple aerial clips from a helicopter reveal the Orés wildfire burning across hills, forests, and agricultural fields in the Zaragoza area. Thick gray and white smoke blankets the landscape as active flames appear along ridges and through vegetation in several sections of the blaze. The footage shows the fire perimeter from above, with dirt roads, harvested plots, and surrounding terrain visible through the smoke. As the helicopter moves, visibility decreases in areas covered by heavier smoke. BRIF teams from Cuenca are relocating to a different work sector as the wildfire continues to burn. The fire, which started around July 15 in the Cinco Villas region of Zaragoza, has scorched an estimated 7,600 to more than 12,000 hectares. Around 1,000 residents from Orés, Asín, Luesia, Uncastillo, Malpica de Arba, and Petilla de Aragón in Navarra remain evacuated. Irregular winds continue to complicate containment efforts involving BRIF teams, the Military Emergency Unit, ground crews, and aerial resources.
