The Salvation Army of Orange and Osceola counties have a new leader, Major Roger Glick. He shared his story of turning family need into a lifelong service to others. With homelessness, hunger and financial need still present, Major Glick is looking for community collaborators to further the mission of the Salvation Army. Now that the government has been shut down for more than 30 days, SNAP benefits and Medicaid are just a few of the services impacted. Nationally some 40 million people are struggling with food insufficiency and in Orange County that number is 175,000.
