His extensive background ranges from Personalized Care, Medication Deprescribing, to Health Cost Savings! He was inspired to pursue this calling, because of his late grandmother who passed from complications of Dementia, where a medication had been incorrectly prescribed leading to her health declining rapidly. This fatal medication error could have been avoided had a trained Geriatric Pharmacist paid close enough attention to her medication history. He never want any more patients of his or loved ones to endure what my family had to because of something preventable, which is why he founded GeriatRx. Dr. Jerrica Dodd, PharmD is the founder of the PharmaSis Magazine. The PharmaSis Magazine, where the goal is to celebrate women in pharmacy.
