Today's episode is a very important one. Today's special guest is Ranie Evans. Ranie Evans courageously shares her journey losing her son Branden, who died by suicide just a few short years ago. Her sister Collette Brunson also joined Kirsten for this difficult discussion. Ranie talks us through the heartache no parent ever wants to experience…… Through the darkness, she decided to create more light. She shares how she started her nonprofit organization BE TREE...Committed to raising awareness around Mental Health and creating connection through community. Ranie is dedicated to talking openly about mental health. Talking is the first step. She shares her experience freely with others. She teaches at schools, as well as brings people together for yoga, while having therapists and resources available for those in need. Ranie is doing amazing things!! Ranie shares the story how Branden had carved into an Aspen tree the "Life and HIPS". She later found out what it meant: "Life & Hidden in plain sight".
