Select patients who should undergo genetic testing to identify hereditary kidney cancer syndromes based on appropriate criteria, including family history and clinical presentation. 2. Implement strategies to address ethical concerns related to genetic testing, such as patient consent, confidentiality, and the potential impact on family members. 3. Discuss VHL syndrome, including its genetic basis, inheritance pattern, and associated tumors. 4. Properly diagnose and manage VHL syndrome in clinical practice based on knowledge of novel therapeutic strategies. 5. Utilize a multidisciplinary approach consisting of urologists, oncologists, geneticists and nephrologists when managing hereditary kidney cancer syndromes.
