This one's a hoot, or should I say, a gobble! It's the magic of turkey killing! Are you thankful for our podcast? Go leave us a voice memo! And a review! P.S. Emily didn't do the best job distinguishing between the issues of misogyny, and fat shaming in this film: the movie makes a lot of jokes about Billy being fat, and that's fatphobic and shitty. The movie also does the thing where all the lady characters fit within a super narrow standard of beauty, while the men are allowed to be worthwhile even if they aren't painted as attractive, and that's also shitty. Maybe the movie's self aware about it? I think it's part of the joke, but the jokes are still punching down, so, not great.
