This episode was inspired by the Netflix Show America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Now don't get me wrong, I love the show, but there are many things I don't love, like how they encourage people to suppress their emotions and put on a happy front. This is something so many women were taught in childhood - being "the good girl" aka, always happy, hard working, overachieving etc etc. In adulthood, this looks like never feeling good enough and chronic anxiety.
