Annemieke Bosman praat met regisseur Corinne van Egeraat over de film "Myanmar Diaries" die vanaf donderdag 12 mei in de bioscoop is te zien.      Myanmar Diaries is opgebouwd uit korte films van tien jonge, anonieme Birmese filmmakers en burgerjournalistieke beelden die de brutaliteit van de junta en het moedige verzet vastleggen. De film laat de ontwikkeling zien in het afgelopen jaar vanaf de militaire staatsgreep op 1 februari 2021. Na landelijke protesten en burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheid en gewelddadige repressie waarbij duizenden vreedzame demonstranten werden opgesloten is er nu een groeiend gewapend verzet tegen de junta. Organisch beweegt de film heen en weer tussen documentaire en fictie en vormt zo een naadloos geheel waarin de filmmakers creatieve manieren vinden om hun hoofdrolspelers anoniem te houden.
