Nechustan regisseert de achtdelige dramaserie Elixer wordt Isabelle Rombauts geheel onverwacht benoemd tot CEO van het familiebedrijf Rombauts Pharma, een belangrijke speler op de internationale farmaceutische markt. Al gauw stuit zij op de gevolgen van ernstig wanbeleid door haar vader en broer. En zij komt voor een duivels dilemma te staan: moet ze haar eigen geweten volgen? Of de belangen van haar invloedrijke familie? Elixer is vanaf woensdag 5 maart om 20.30 uur wekelijks te zien op NPO 1 en volledig te streamen op NPO Start.
