Annemieke Bosman praat met scenarioschrijver Frank Ketelaar over zijn nieuwe tv-serie De Ring waar hij ook enkele afleveringen van regisseerde. Wanneer Anna een ring in haar tas stopt die niet van haar is, staat deze diefstal ongelukkig genoeg op beeld. Simon, de eigenaar van de ring en haar belangrijkste opdrachtgever, ziet zijn kans schoon en probeert Anna te chanteren: als zij het bed met hem deelt zal hij haar niet aangeven bij de politie. Het naar buiten komen van de diefstal zou haar carrière verwoesten. Anna is echter net tot over haar oren verliefd geworden op Max. Ze besluit tot het uiterste te gaan om zich Simon van het lijf te houden. De hoofdrollen in De Ring worden vertolkt door Hannah Hoekstra, Minne Koole en Benja Bruijning. De tiendelige thrillerserie De Ring, van de makers van Klem en Overspel, is vanaf 5 september iedere donderdag om 20:30 uur te zien bij BNNVARA op NPO 1 en te streamen via NPO Start.
