Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met Gwen van der Zwan, schrijver documentairemaker en journalist. Van der Zwan onderzoek in de VPRO-serie Like voor een lijk waarom extreem geweld voortdurend viraal gaat. Extreem geweld is populair op het internet, en dat is niet nieuw. Wat wél nieuw is, is dat je het steeds vaker ongevraagd tegenkomt op sociale media, waar techbazen als Musk en Zuckerberg de teugels laten vieren. Steeds meer mensen – ook kinderen – komen er daarom mee in aanraking, of ze het nu willen of niet. Gwen van der Zwan schreef onder meer voor Vrij Nederland en De Groene Amsterdammer, werkt aan een tweede boek en was als host en researcher betrokken bij verschillende documentaires. In 2020 ging ze undercover als journalist op het livestreamplatform Twitch om onderzoek te doen naar de complexe rol van vrouwen daar. Haar ervaringen vormden de basis voor de documentaire Amstergwen, waarmee ze prijzen won op verschillende filmfestivals. Gwen gebruikt zichzelf vaak als instrument om onderbelichte, vreemde of schokkende werelden te onderzoeken.
