Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met Jelle Bouwhuis, conservator Moderne Kunst van Museum Arnhem. Met de tentoonstelling 'Kunst in het derde rijk - Verleiding en afleiding' richt Museum Arnhem zich op een blinde vlek in de kunstgeschiedenis. Aan de hand van zo'n negentig werken wordt een beeld geschetst van de kunst die tijdens het naziregime (1933-1945) in Duitsland werd gemaakt en geëxposeerd. Centraal staat de rol van beeldende kunst in deze periode; hoe deze door het regime tot een politiek instrument werd gemaakt. Het is voor het eerst sinds 1944 dat een kunstmuseum in Nederland op deze schaal aandacht geeft aan deze beladen periode in de Duitse kunstgeschiedenis.
