Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met regisseur en schrijver Joeri Vos. Joeri Vos schreef samen met Teun Smits de voorstelling HULP bij de Veenfabriek. In het theatertje om de hoek bereidt een groep zorgmedewerkers een benefietavond voor. Nadat ze de beelden zagen van de vreselijke ramp in Chili konden ze niet stil blijven zitten. De handen worden massaal uit de mouwen gestoken. Ieder draagt z’n steentje bij: stoelen worden klaargezet, de ingezamelde kleding gesorteerd, het buurtbandje doet een soundcheck en misschien maakt zelfs de lokale BN’er zijn opkomst. Want alle kleine beetjes helpen - toch? Gaandeweg slaat goede moed om in twijfel: we willen helpen, maar helpt het ook? Met HULP sluit schrijver en regisseur Joeri Vos zijn drieluik KLAP af. Ieder deel is geïnspireerd door de vraag “Waar doe je goed aan?” en portretteert een groep die zich (min of meer) professioneel verhoudt tot een grote en ontwrichtende gebeurtenis op het wereldtoneel. Na de werelden van de journalistiek in de voorstelling KRANT en internationaal recht in de produktie RECHT, duikt Veenfabriek met HULP in de goede bedoelingen van hulpverleners en vrijwilligers. Ieder deel van de Klap staat op zichzelf.
