Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met Lara Schnitger, kunstenaar en ecofeminist. Vanaf half november presenteert Museum Kranenburgh de tentoonstelling Stitch Witch met het werk van Lara Schnitger. Met haar uitbundige en humorvolle werk vol kritische statements vraagt Schnitger aandacht voor de positie van de vrouw, gender-ongelijkheid en seksuele onderdrukking in onze nog altijd sterk door mannen gedomineerde maatschappij. De solopresentatie in Museum Kranenburgh laat het publiek kennismaken met het veelzijdige oeuvre van deze internationaal spraakmakende, maar in Nederland al geruime tijd onderbelichte kunstenaar. Speciaal voor Stitch Witch maakt Schnitger nieuw werk dat een relatie aangaat met de natuurlijke omgeving van het museum.
