Good Mom/Bad Mom is een tentoonstelling over moederschap, over zorgdragen, over de politiek van de baarmoeder, over emancipatie. De tentoonstelling biedt een hedendaagse reflectie op het kunsthistorische cliché van de 'goede moeder' en neemt de bezoekers mee op een reis langs de geschiedenis van de verbeelding van het moederschap: van aloude, stereotype en vaak geromantiseerde moeder-en-kind verbeeldingen naar werken van nieuwe en opwindende generaties kunstenaars die zich op geheel eigen – en vaak zeer persoonlijke – wijze met dit thema bezighouden. In thematische kabinetten - 'tijdscapsules' - krijgen onderwerpen als abortus en zelfbeschikking een historische en maatschappelijke duiding en bieden zo aanknopingspunten voor discussie.
