Brecht van Hulten in gesprek met architecte Liesbeth van der Pol. In de Kunstlinie in Almere is de tentoonstelling 'Met Karakter' te zien. De tentoonstelling biedt een kijkje in de ontwerpkeuken van Liesbeth van der Pol: ‘Met Karakter’ vertelt het verhaal van de architecte en medeoprichtster van Dok Architecten. Bezoekers kunnen zich vergapen aan honderden aquarellen, schetsen en maquettes en afbeeldingen van diverse eindresultaten. Van der Pols karakteristieke gebouwen staan bekend als krachtig, kleurig en vol expressie. Een goed voorbeeld daarvan zijn de Almeerse Rooie Donders: drie opvallend bordeauxrode woontorens die lijken op poortwachters voor de Regenboogbuurt (1994-98) erachter.
