Leonard Evers in gesprek met kunstenaar Lilian Kreutzberger. Het Kröller-Müller Museum op de Veluwe toont dit najaar werk van Kreutzberger in de tentoonstelling Rauhfaser. Kreutzberger onderzoekt in haar werk de relatie tussen digitale en fysieke ruimte. Daarbij combineert ze handmatig gemaakte objecten met de nieuwste technologische ontwikkelingen. Kreutzberger reflecteert op een onomkeerbaar gegeven van onze huidige maatschappij: de oprukkende digitalisering en de impact die dit heeft op ons dagelijks leven. Het resultaat is zinsbegoochelend werk waarvan soms niet duidelijk is hoe de objecten gemaakt zijn. Kreutzberger speelt met onze blik door bijvoorbeeld trompe l’oeil effect toe te passen. In Rauhfaser schept ze een wereld waarin de vraag wordt opgeroepen wie zeggenschap heeft over de menselijke zintuigelijke ervaring. Bepaalt in de nabije toekomst de fysieke wereld onze ervaringen of is de digitale wereld dan dominant?
