Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met Lisaboa Houbrechts, regisseur en theatermaker. In het Holland Festival is in juni 2023 de voorstelling 'Vake Poes; of hoe God verdween' van Houbrechts te zien. 'Vake Poes; of hoe God verdween' is een familie-epos dat drie generaties overspant vanuit het perspectief van een jong meisje. De twaalfjarige 'Kleindochter Aller Kleindochters' staat aan het einde van de oorlog, het seksueel misbruik in de broederschool, de Duitse bezetting en het wrede huwelijk met Moeke Poes. De levensverhalen en trauma's van grootouders, ouders en de eigen, jongste generatie worden uitgediept met Bachs 'Johannespassie' als leidraad. Het idee voor 'Vake Poes; of hoe God verdween' ontstond tijdens de gesprekken die Lisaboa Houbrechts met haar grootvader voerde.
