Dat is de grote vraag in het nieuwe stuk van toneelschrijfster Lot Vekemans. In dit stuk spelen Helmert Woudenberg en José Kuipers een vader en dochter die in alles lijnrecht tegenover elkaar staan. Een vader en een dochter leven al jaren met elkaar in onmin. Hij is een trotse, koppige bejaarde, die woont in een beveiligde enclave waar mensen zoals hij - wit, succesvol en ooit invloedrijk - zich hebben teruggetrokken als reactie op de veranderende samenleving. Zij omarmt die nieuwe samenleving, waarvoor ze gevochten heeft. In alles staan ze lijnrecht tegenover elkaar. De verwijdering lijkt onoverbrugbaar. In het stuk 'Bind' botsen twee werelden in een ooit sterke familieband. Hoe ga je om met ideologische verschillen?
