Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met schrijfster Maartje Wortel. Wortel's nieuwste roman Camping speelt zich af op een camping midden in het bos, naast een militair oefenterrein. Hoofdpersonage Victorien koopt deze camping van de eigenaars, twee zussen, met als voorwaarde dat ze er zelf mogen blijven wonen. Een keur aan gasten checkt in aan de lichtblauwe balie: van een militair met PTSS tot een drugscrimineel en een beroemdheid die de publiciteit wil ontvluchten. Wat voor de een vakantie is, is voor de ander bittere noodzaak. De gasten op de camping zijn tot elkaar veroordeeld maar hebben tegelijkertijd niets met elkaar van doen. Ze kunnen altijd weer weg, toch? Maartje Wortel studeerde beeld en taal aan de Rietveld Academie. Voor haar debuut Dit is jouw huis ontving ze de Anton Wachterprijs. Haar roman IJstijd werd onderscheiden met de BNG Bank Literatuurprijs. Haar laatste boeken Dennie is een star en De groef werden met veel lof onthaald.
