Annemieke Bosman gaat met Machteld Siegmann in gesprek. Haar nieuwe boek Aloha zit vol met verhalen die elke raak zijn en je aanzetten tot denken. Een enkele ontmoeting kan je leven op z’n kop zetten. Vooral de onverwachte ontmoetingen, die anders lopen dan je denkt. Veel van de verhalen in Aloha gaan over zulke ontmoetingen-op-het-tweede-gezicht: een oude pontwachter wacht op zijn laatste passagier om hem de liefde te verklaren, een kunstenares vergeet haar vernissage omdat ze door iets groters in beslag wordt genomen, een slang leidt een dubbelleven en een gescheiden vader komt zichzelf tegen op kampeervakantie met zijn dochters. Gelukkig maar: de wereld is gevaarlijker maar ook magischer dan gedacht. Het boek is uitgekomen op 12 januari bij uitgeverij Ambo Anthos.
