Merel van den Nieuwenhof is conservator bij Museum Jan Cunen in Oss. De tentoonstelling Willem Witsen, Stille kracht laat het leven en werk van veelzijdig kunstenaar Willem Witsen zien. Een eeuw na zijn dood is zijn stemmige oeuvre in de vergetelheid geraakt. Zijn beste schilderijen, tekeningen en etsen ademen sfeer en intimiteit. De tentoonstelling is te zien tot en met 16 juni 2024. Brecht van Hulten gaat met de conservator, Merel van den Nieuwenhof in gesprek.
