Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met Michael Middelkoop, filmregisseur en scenarioschrijver. Middelkoop won twee jaar geleden een Gouden Kalf voor zijn film Dit is geen Kerstfilm. Sinds vorige week draait zijn nieuwe film Vakkenvullers XL in de Nederlandse bioscoop. Vakkenvullers begon als serie. Over rellen, opgroeien en vriendschap tussen de schappen. Een tegendraadse reeks die succes vond omdat jong online Nederland hun eigen taal hoorde. Nu is er een bioscoopversie. Vakkenvullers XL is een frisse komedie die onbeschaamd jong is, eigenzinnig in toon en met absurde humor onze tijdgeest duidt. Over opgroeien, van je fouten leren, vriendschap en vooral: een jeugdig anti-establishment.
