'Glas, mijn onvervulde leven' is het coming-of-old-age verhaal van de 52-jarige Rogier Kappers – alias De Glazendraaier - die zijn kinderdroom najaagt: beroemd worden als straatmuzikant op het glasorgel! In de film volgen we onze (anti)held op zijn soms hilarische, en tegelijkertijd ontroerende zoektocht naar roem, liefde en fortuin. Van het eigenhandig bouwen van zijn eerste glasorgel tot een gepassioneerde ontmoeting met de wereldberoemde componist Arvo Pärt; van zijn eerste schreden op straat tot een rampzalig avontuur in Dubai.
