Roxane van Iperen is schrijver en jurist. Ze werkte van 2001 tot 2011 als jurist en adviseur bij diverse advocatenkantoren en bedrijven. In 2016 debuteerde ze als romancier met Schuim der aarde en in 2018 verscheen 't Hooge Nest waarmee ze de Opzij Literatuurprijs 2019 won. Dit weekend staat Roxane op Lowlands in het programma 'De schouders van ... Roxane van Iperen' waarin ze in gesprek gaat met cultuurjournalist Yuki Kho.
