Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met Sarah Janneh, actrice en zangeres. Zij schittert momenteel in de voorstelling Nachtwacht van NITE en regisseur Guy Weizman. In een gitzwart, oergrappig en dieptriest stuk dat via ouderdom en sterven thema’s als familie, emancipatie en autoriteit behandelt. Een familietragedie waarin iedereen los probeert te komen uit de rol die hen toebedeeld is, zodat ze zelf een rol kunnen bepalen waar ze écht in geloven. Sarah Janneh begon haar opleiding aan het Muziekconservatorium in Tilburg en werd in 2012 aangenomen aan de Theaterschool Amsterdam waar ze in 2016 afstudeerde. Sinds 2022 is ze als vast ensemble lid verbonden aan NITE + Club Guy & Roni. Ze speelde in verschillende NITE-voorstelling als Before/After, Yara's Wedding, Ocean Breeze en Nachtwacht. Naast haar toneelwerk is Sarah regelmatig te zien in films en op televisie, bijvoorbeeld in Het Klokhuis, Anne +, Soof 3 en Tropenjaren. In 2023 was Sarah te zien als kandidaat in het programma Wie is de Mol?.
