Annemieke Bosman praat met schrijver Sebastiaan Chabot over zijn roman Olifantenpaadjes. Een gelukkig gescheiden gezin huurt elke zomer een huis aan de Zuid-Franse kust om het leven van voor de scheiding na te bootsen. Ieder gezinslid denkt dat ze het voor een ander doen. Alleen de vader, professor Raad, weet dat hij het voor zichzelf doet. Die paar dagen aan de kust behoren elke zomer weer tot de gelukkigste in zijn jaar. Sebastiaan Chabot(1989) vertrok na zijn studie geschiedenis naar New York om aan NYU Creative Writing te volgen. Hij studeerde in 2017 af bij Jonathan Safran Foer met zijn debuutroman De slaap die geen uren kent, die werd genomineerd voor de Anton Wachterprijs voor beste debuut in 2020-2021. Samen met zijn ouders Bart en Yolanda en zijn broers Maurits, Splinter en Storm schrijft hij het Boekenweekgeschenk 2024; Gezinsverpakking.
