In Het Verhaal van de Schaal ontrafelt Simon Heijmans, bekend van o.a. de podcast De Brand in het Landhuis, het raadsel rondom een mysterieus stuk Chinees porselein. Een verhalende podcastserie over een schaal, een man met een ijzeren geloof in de herkomst en een wereld die weigert naar hem te luisteren. Vanaf maandag 9 juni zijn de eerste vier afleveringen van de 7-delige podcast te horen via de NPO Luister-app en de eerste twee via andere podcastapps. Het Verhaal van de Schaal is gemaakt door Simon Heijmans, de eindredactie ligt in handen van Marion Oskamp, met wie hij eerder de populaire podcastserie De Brand in het Landhuis maakte.
